However, part of modern society, not only equates to some animals to humans, but that becomes a kind of "divine beings" that must be respected above even the rest of humanity; and what animals is intended to give them rights. That, regardless of an error, comes great contradiction in our own ways. Do we recognize the rats, cockroaches, or lice the right to life and to cause them suffering, or, instead, tried to exterminate them so mercilessly? Why why some animals and others do not? Of course, the worst conflict of all is that we make in our behavior to "our beloved pets." Speaking of birds, hamsters and turtles, which is constantly being caged: "... Is there anything worse than being a pet? ", asks Fernando Savater.
