Legend "Easter bunny"
Its origin dates back to Anglo-Saxon feasts pre-Christian, when the rabbit was the symbol of fertility associated with the goddess Eastre, to whom he dedicated the month of April. Gradually, this image was including the Easter and from the nineteenth century, began to manufacture the dolls, chocolate and sugar in Germany, it also led to a curious legend that when Jesus was put to the grave he had given Joseph of Arimathea, in the cave had a rabbit in hiding, too scared to see how the people came in, cried and was sad because Jesus had died.
The rabbit just sat there watching the body of Jesus when they put the stone that closed the entrance and saw him and saw him wondering who would be the Lord, whom everyone wanted both.
This happened a long time, seeing it, spent all day and all night, when suddenly, the rabbit saw something surprising: He got up and folded the sheets with which he had been involved. An angel rolled the stone that covered the entrance and he went out of the cave more alive than ever!
The rabbit understood that Jesus was the Son of God and decided he had to warn the world and all the people crying, no longer had to be sad because Jesus had risen. As
rabbits can not talk, they thought if they wore a painted egg, they would understand the message of life and joy and he did.
Since then, the legend, the rabbit comes out every Sunday from Easter to color eggs left at every house to remind the world that Jesus was resurrected and has to live happy.
